Responsibilities
Work in compliance with all TJX best practices, safety rules and regulations in accordance with federal, state, and local municipalities
Perform preventative maintenance and advanced repair and troubleshooting of all building and MHE equipment, plumbing, electrical, heating, refrigeration, sprinklers, etc
Advanced operation and a full understanding of control systems, multiple computer programs, and all building equipment
Completes all required paperwork and maintains a clean work environment
Monitor all control systems to ensure maximum uptime
Recommends and implements improvements to equipment, operations, and procedures
Trains and guides other maintenance associates in preventative maintenance of equipment and safety procedures
Assist with projects and work with vendors as assigned
Responsible for effective and timely communication
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
Vocational training in a related technical field or equivalent
Advanced understanding and knowledge of tools, electrical, hydraulic, and other systems
Proven proficiency in electrical/electronics, welding/fabrication, HVAC/refrigeration, plumbing, mechanical and electrical drive systems
Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs
Three to six years of experience in the maintenance field
Preventative maintenance experience in material handling systems
