Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple IT infrastructure and systems projects simultaneously
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Develop and maintain:
Project plans and schedules
Risk registers
Status reports
Coordinate cross-functional teams including infrastructure, security, applications, vendors, and business stakeholders
Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and resource constraints and implement mitigation strategies
Manage data center migration projects, including on-premise to Microsoft Azure
Oversee initiatives involving:
Cloud vs. on-premise environments
Site additions and decommissions
Technology refreshes
Support IT efforts related to mergers and acquisitions, including:
Onboarding newly acquired environments
Data center consolidation and integration
Migrate a recently acquired company’s data center to Azure
Lead system upgrade initiatives (e.g., Windows 11 upgrades)
Coordinate the transition of Azure contracts and subscriptions back in-house
Support ongoing and upcoming acquisition-related IT integration projects
Maintain detailed project tracking artifacts using Excel, including:
Budgets
Timelines
Asset inventories
Dependencies
Resource plans
Provide executive-level project status updates, dashboards, and metrics
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager with a focus on infrastructure and enterprise IT projects
Proven experience with data center migrations
Proven experience with cloud transformations
Proven experience with application integrations
Hands-on experience supporting IT initiatives related to mergers and acquisitions
Ability to manage complex, data-intensive projects across multiple stakeholders
Broad understanding of IT infrastructure, including cloud platforms (especially Microsoft Azure)
Broad understanding of on-premise and hybrid environments
Broad understanding of networking, servers, storage, and security concepts
Strong experience in Microsoft-centric environments (Azure services and Windows platforms)
Advanced Excel skills (tracking, analysis, reporting)
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
