Responsibilities
Own the full business development lifecycle across North America, from identifying opportunities, nurturing relationships, managing proposals, to closing deals
Grow and deepen client relationships, converting existing connections and identifying new prospects within a clearly defined pipeline of priority events
Lead high-value proposals and bids, coordinating internal stakeholders and presenting directly to senior decision-makers
Manage contract renewals, retention, and cross-sell opportunities, driving organic account growth
Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting to support forecasting and strategic decision-making
Provide commercial insight and market intelligence to inform North America and global growth strategies
Represent the business at key industry events, tournaments, and networking opportunities across North America and internationally
Qualification
Required
Proven business development track record, ideally in sports, hospitality, or large-scale events
Strong commercial acumen and confidence in evaluating opportunity viability and deal value
Experience managing complex proposals or bids, coordinating multiple stakeholders
Excellent relationship-building skills, able to nurture and grow high-value client accounts
Results-oriented, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment
Based in, or willing to relocate to, the Miami area (role requires 2–3 days in-office per week)
