Responsibilities

Use technical acumen, organizational skills, and critical thinking to work collaboratively across the US Data Management Office

Support the execution of the US Data Strategy initiative

Focus on different areas within Data Management, with a focus on Data Operations, Data Catalog, Governance, and Quality

Contribute to the suite of automation tools, with a focus on Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)

Develop, maintain, and enhance the organization’s data catalog, ensuring accurate metadata, classification, and lineage documentation

Collaborate with data stewards and governance teams to ensure data quality, compliance, and security standards are met

Establish and enforce metadata standards and best practices for cataloging data assets

Document processes, both the creation of new ones and updates made to existing ones

Participate in month end reconciliation activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity in financial and operational reporting

Engage with the Data Operations team to ideate on new ideas and initiatives

Take part in discussions with stakeholders across the business to convert business requirements into technical details

Required

2-4 years of experience, preferably in the Financial Services industry

Knowledge on commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within data analytics, data governance, and business intelligence

Experience in SQL

Experience with BI Tools

Experience with Excel

Experience with Data catalog tools

Experience with Power Platform (PowerApps & PowerAutomate)

Demonstrate versatility with technical skills, organizational and time management

Ability to switch contexts across multiple projects

Drive efficiency and optimization

Critical and analytical thinking skills

Act with integrity and provide a clear and honest picture of the task at hand

Preferred

Knowledge of Python

Knowledge of Databricks

Knowledge of Version Control Systems
