Financial Analyst - Research & Development

Techtronic Industries - TTI is seeking a Financial Analyst-Research & Development to support their Global R&D operations. This role involves collaborating with Engineering and Product Management teams to optimize financial performance, including month-end close, forecasting, and reporting.

Responsibilities

Partner with key business leaders to help build financial projections for New Products
Maintain, track and report deferred development costs
Partner with local and global resources to analyze and propose investment in new products and value engineering
Assist in month end closing and forecasting processes
Analyze monthly financial results to identify risks and opportunities to the forecast and budget
Support the Engineering department with regard to financial data needs and requests
Support the preparation New Product Management Reviews (NPMR)
Support the Month End Reporting, Forecasting, & Annual Business Planning and Budget Process
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline and optimize work procedures
Provide ad-hoc analysis and support as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Minimum 1 year finance and accounting experience – preferably for a large corporation
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
Must be available to work in the Anderson, SC office

Preferred

Prior experience in FP&A, Manufacturing, or Engineering Finance
Prior experience in leading/managing projects is highly desired
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Results driven individual with a track record to support
Detail-oriented with strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement
Collaborative with ability to interact with all employees in a professional and positive manner
