Executive Compensation Consultant
Responsibilities
Lead complex client engagements from scoping through final delivery
Develop strategic compensation solutions grounded in rigorous analysis
Advise clients on incentive design, governance standards, and disclosure best practices
Guide junior consultants through modeling, research, and presentation development
Build relationships with C-suite and board-level stakeholders
Bring forward proactive insights that go beyond the numbers
Stay ahead of market trends, regulations, and shareholder expectations
Contribute to firm thought leadership and internal knowledge-sharing
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in executive compensation or a similar advisory role
Strong analytical toolkit—fluent in Excel and comfortable with financial modeling
Clear, confident communication skills—written, verbal, and client-facing
Comfort managing multiple priorities with a high degree of autonomy
A sharp eye for detail, a strategic mindset, and a natural curiosity
Familiarity with financial statements, equity compensation, and proxy disclosure
