Responsibilities

Perform routine and complex work related to the adjustment and calibration of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment

Retrieve, assemble, calibrate, and maintain various instruments and equipment that measure heat, light, voltage, amperage, weight, vacuum, etc

Supporting and sustaining manufacturing equipment through preventative and corrective maintenance within the SMG business unit in Danbury, including Specialty Gas and Engineered Specialty Coatings equipment

Update data management / tracking databases on a continuous basis to provide accurate and updated equipment and calibration records at all times

Carry out reliability and performance tests on equipment and make adjustments that required to adhere to government, industry, and organizational standards

Scheduling calibrations around equipment owner and production schedule needs

Coordinating with third party vendors for calibration services and purchase of new calibrated sensors

Learn manufacturing processes and products from cross functional team including manufacturing and R&D

Investigate equipment failures and abnormalities, determine root cause, build corrective action plan and drive that plan to completion. This may include doing hands-on testing with toxic or hazardous materials

Perform other duties as assigned
