Responsibilities

Produce 3D CAD models and detailed drawings
Provide design support for a variety of mechanical hardware projects that involve complex, multi-part systems and assemblies

Required

Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school
Minimum of five years' related experience and/or training (preferably modeling and detailing precision machine parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies for the military or aerospace industry)
Full proficiency in 3D modeling and drafting software
Complete understanding of drafting standards
Talent for spatial conceptualization
Ability to communicate clearly and accurately using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
Excellent attention to detail
Accuracy
Effective communication and prioritization skills

Preferred

Familiarity/skill with SolidWorks and Product Data Management (PDM) systems
Working knowledge of graphics software
