Account Executive, Institutions (West Coast)

Canoe Intelligence is a company focused on reimagining alternative investment data processes for institutional investors. They are seeking an Account Executive, Institutions to drive revenue growth by establishing relationships with key decision-makers within target institutions and executing strategies to close new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

Identify and target potential West Coast based clients
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and lead generation activities
Conduct thorough research to understand the needs, pain points, and priorities of prospective clients
Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of Canoe Intelligence's solutions
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales engineering, business development, marketing, and client success, to ensure a seamless client onboarding and implementation process
Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements to drive successful deal closures
Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the sales management team
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes that impact the institutional sector

Qualification

Required

5+ year track record of success in fintech sales and business development or comparable industry with exposure to the pension, foundation and endowment vertical
Strong knowledge of the alternative investment industry, including key players, industry regulations, and market trends
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level decision makers and influencers
Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on driving revenue growth
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
Proficiency in CRM software and other sales productivity tools
College educated, Bachelor's degree highly preferred
