Lead Clinician I/II Emergency Services ***INTERNAL ONLY***

The Lead Clinician will oversee daily operations, support staff development, and ensure high-quality clinical services while collaborating with community partners.

Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate daily operations to ensure efficient service delivery
Provide individualized coaching and mentorship to direct service staff to enhance clinical skills and performance
Facilitate clear and timely communication between teams to promote collaboration and continuity of care
Serve as backup for Program Supervisors during absences or high-demand periods
Attend program leadership meetings as requested and contribute to strategic planning and problem-solving
Monitor adherence to clinical standards and organizational policies
Provide crisis intervention and prevention services to individuals and families
Develop and maintain administrative and clinical files; prepare various reports and case related correspondence
Participate in clinical, administrative and supervisory meetings; collaborate with other staff members concerning cases
Manage and document contacts; enter and update information in database
Coordinate and link client to community resources and medical services; interface with other service providers and client support system
Attend professional conferences and trainings as required
Attend court as needed
Supervise student interns as directed
Holidays, weekends and evenings shifts required. Position is considered designated to report to work as scheduled during any RBHA closure
Qualification
Required
Licensed or license-eligible clinician
Experience in crisis intervention and community response services
Ability to oversee and coordinate daily operations
Experience in providing individualized coaching and mentorship
Strong communication skills to facilitate clear and timely communication between teams
Ability to serve as backup for Program Supervisors
Experience in quality assurance and monitoring adherence to clinical standards
Ability to conduct preadmission screening evaluations for hospitalization
Experience in crisis intervention, triage for non-emergency intakes, information & referral, brief case management, and crisis stabilization
Ability to work in a variety of community settings
Ability to multi-task and manage stressful and high-risk work environments
Experience interfacing with multiple behavioral health partners and first responders
Ability to work independently with minimal need for direct supervision
Experience in developing and maintaining administrative and clinical files
Ability to prepare various reports and case-related correspondence
Experience managing and documenting contacts and entering information in a database
Ability to coordinate and link clients to community resources and medical services
Experience collaborating with other service providers and client support systems
Willingness to attend professional conferences and trainings as required
Willingness to attend court as needed
Ability to supervise student interns as directed
Availability for holidays, weekends, and evening shifts
