Responsibilities

Drive territory sales by executing a proactive outbound strategy: client meetings, events, and follow-ups - demonstrating a strong sense of ownership, managing the territory like their own business-proactive, entrepreneurial, accountable
Travel within the territory to build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and meetings to achieve sales targets
Meets or exceeds all territory and firm sales goals for their assigned territory
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the firm's products and services to effectively communicate the value of Horizon's solutions that best align with their business objectives
Develop, implement, and maintain a territory business plan in partnership with the National Sales Director to increase sales revenue and market share within an assigned area of responsibility, targeting specific advisor segments and key accounts
Work collaboratively with a dedicated Internal Advisory Specialist to maximize territory sales efforts and meet sales targets
Maintain a disciplined sales process: tracking pipeline activity, key KPIs, advisor engagement, and follow-up tasks in CRM
Provide superior service to ensure growth and retention of assets, serving as a trusted advisor to clients, providing investment insights, guidance, and business consultation
Represent the firm as a trusted solutions partner at national conferences, regional meetings, and other industry events to promote the firm's offerings and value proposition and promote brand awareness
Maintain all activity in dedicated CRM to properly track all sales efforts, client contacts and any other necessary information

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services related sales or consulting
Experience with large independent broker-dealers firms and registered investment advisers required
FINRA series 7 and 65/66 required
Ability to meet extensive travel requirements
Established relationships within territory
