Responsibilities

Junior Data Engineer with Python and SQL programming

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field

Graduated from a strong academic program (top-tier or rigorous curriculum preferred), especially if work experience is limited

Strong proficiency in writing clean, modular, and testable code in Python

Experience with data processing frameworks and libraries

Advanced querying skills in SQL

Experience working with large datasets

Troubleshooting skills

Internship or 1-2+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering working with SQL and Python

Preferred

Experience building and maintaining data pipelines

Familiarity with Spark (PySpark), notebooks, and job orchestration

Understanding of event-driven architecture

Experience producing/consuming messages and handling data streams
