Assistant Research Professor -Experimental Condensed Matter & Materials Physics
The Pennsylvania State University is seeking to fill a research assistant professor position in the areas of superconducting hybrid devices. The successful candidate will lead in thin film growth, device fabrication, and transport measurements of devices involving superconductors interfaced with graphene and other 2D materials.

Responsibilities
Lead in thin film growth, device fabrication, and transport measurements of devices involving superconductors interfaced with graphene, topological materials and other 2D materials
Fabrication of superconducting thin films using a HPCVD process, nanofabrication, and low temperature and high magnetic field measurement
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Physics, materials or device physics
Very good knowledge and experience in the areas in superconductivity, quantum materials, and superconducting devices
Preferred
Technical experience in the areas of epitaxial growth of thin films using CVD and related technique
Knowledge and experience on pulsed-laser deposition, sputtering, photo- and electron beam lithography, and measurements at low temperature and high magnetic fields
