Responsibilities

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
Manage asset-liability strategies to ensure optimal balance sheet performance
Monitor and manage liquidity, capital adequacy, and investment portfolios
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations
Support cross-functional initiatives that improve cost-effectiveness and resource allocation
Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
Serve as a role model for the credit union’s mission, vision, and values

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of seven (7) years of senior-level management experience within a financial institution, with a specific focus in Finance, or a minimum of twelve (12) years of credit union auditor/examiner experience
Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, investments, and asset/liability management, particularly as regulated under NCUA and the Missouri Division of Credit Unions
Proven experience in analyzing data, creating models based on analysis, and identifying investment opportunities
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex financial information to all levels of the organization, including the Board of Directors
Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze complex financial data and systems
Proven ability in leading and managing high-performing, diverse teams within the financial services industry
Ability to travel to different branch locations and various training or networking events
Proficiency in Office 365, accounting systems, and financial institution core software
