PMO Partners, LLC is seeking an experienced PMO Consultant to assist in establishing a centralized Project Management Office for a growing credit union. The role involves reviewing current project processes and implementing a scalable PMO framework while working closely with executive leadership and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Assess the current project landscape, intake processes, and delivery maturity across the organization
Design and implement a centralized PMO framework to organize, prioritize, and manage the enterprise project portfolio
Establish a lightweight project intake, prioritization, and governance model aligned to business strategy and resource capacity
Develop practical PMO standards, methodologies, templates, and reporting that are easy to adopt in a growing credit union environment
Interview Senior VPs following interview and developing an understanding of the current practices with the Chief Administrative Officer to ensure PMO processes support real-world needs. Additional interviews may transpire depending on additional needs
Introduce portfolio-level visibility including project health, risk, dependencies, capacity, and delivery confidence
Leverage change management best practices to drive adoption across functional teams
Create a centralized project documentation repository and knowledge-transfer process
Coach and prepare the Chief Administrative Officer with long-term PMO solutions once the structure, governance, and tools are fully implemented

Required

Proven experience building PMOs from the ground up within financial services, credit unions, or community banks
Strong program and project leadership background with demonstrated success delivering enterprise transformation initiatives
Deep understanding of business operations, regulatory environments, and delivery governance
Highly collaborative communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders without formal authority
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and designing solutions in resource-lean, fast-growth organizations
Track record of turning strategy into repeatable, executable delivery models

Preferred

PMP, Six Sigma, or similar credentials
