Head of U.S. HR
TSP, a Syneos Health company, is seeking a Head of U.S. HR to lead and develop their HR team and oversee all HR deliverables across U.S.-based operations. The role involves collaborating with managers nationwide, supporting organizational growth, and contributing to the overall HR agenda in partnership with the Global HR team.

Responsibilities
Serve as a key member of the Global HR Leadership Team, helping to shape the strategic direction for people, leadership, and organizational development across all sites
Serve as the primary HR leader for U.S. operations, ensuring seamless integration with global HR processes and initiatives
Partner closely with U.S. leaders to support organizational growth, capability-building, and culture alignment
Lead recruitment efforts
Oversee onboarding processes tailored to a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment
Support performance management practices
Drive people development initiatives to strengthen U.S. talent pipelines
Serve as a trusted advisor on sensitive employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent resolution
Promote employee engagement initiatives, communication strategies, and well-being programs
Oversee U.S. compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness within the biotech industry
Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, employment laws, and other relevant regulatory requirements
Collaborate with Global HR team on salary planning, job architecture, and HR process alignment
Manage HR operations, including payroll oversight, HRIS accuracy, and reporting
Foster a culture that supports innovation, accountability, and excellence
Support organizational design efforts that enable scalability as the pipeline and U.S. operations grow
Guide leaders through change management related to expansion, restructuring, partnerships, or acquisitions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Life Sciences, or related field
15+ years of HR experience
At least 3-5 years in a HR leadership role
Strong business partner mindset including strong relationship-building skills
Excellent collaborator - across regions, levels, domains
Strong understanding of U.S. labor laws, HR compliance frameworks, and industry-specific regulations
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Strong business acumen
Ability to manage complex HR initiatives across a matrixed, global organization
Preferred
Master's degree
Experience supporting biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences organizations
Experience working in a Global company
