Responsibilities
Lead requirements confirmation, solution design reviews, and gap analysis; recommend solution options
Architect scalable and efficient Workday Financials solutions aligned with business and compliance requirements
Design, develop, and implement Workday Financials modules including: Core Financials, Banking & Settlements, Accounting Center, Revenue Management, Contracts-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Grants & Projects
Optimize Grants Management processes including Pre-/Post-Award, Effort Certification, Subawards, Salary Cap, and Award Budget Plans
Lead large-scale ERP migrations from legacy systems such as PeopleSoft to Workday
Partner with implementation vendors to design and optimize integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, BIRT, REST/SOAP APIs, and Prism Analytics
Identify and implement Workday Extend solutions to address functionality gaps and improve efficiency
Guide development of advanced reports, dashboards, composite and matrix reports using Prism Analytics and Extend
Enhance financial visibility and decision-making through robust reporting frameworks
Ensure compliance with US GAAP, federal grant regulations, and industry-specific financial standards
Design and implement security frameworks, data governance strategies, and Foundation Data Model (FDM) structures
Develop automated workflows for payroll reconciliation, revenue recognition, expense processing, and subaward tracking
Qualification
Required
Active Workday Financials certifications including Core Financials, Banking & Settlements, Revenue Management, Grants Management, Accounting Center, and Contracts-to-Cash (valid through 2025 R1)
10+ years of ERP implementation experience, with at least 7 years focused on Workday Financials
Advanced expertise in Workday integration tools (Studio, EIB, BIRT, REST/SOAP APIs)
Strong experience with cross-functional Workday modules such as Adaptive Planning, Prism Analytics, and Extend
Proven experience ensuring compliance with US GAAP and federal grants regulations
Preferred
5–7 years of experience in multi-tenant Workday Financials deployments within the public sector
5–7 years of experience designing and implementing Accounting Center for cash-basis reporting and complex allocations
Strong experience leading PeopleSoft to Workday migrations
