Stack Engineering Intern

The Stack Engineering Intern will assist in developing core SOFC and SOEC technologies through material selection and component design, while supporting engineering efforts to achieve manufacturing targets.

Responsibilities
Develop SOFC materials related to powder metallurgy and/or hermetic glass sealing
Perform material and part characterization
Analyze and summarize results to clearly communicate status of project milestones
Work within the Bloom system for creating work orders and material requests
Support engineering efforts to reach manufacturing volume and quality targets
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's (4th year) or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science
Must be graduating between spring 2026 and summer 2027
Preferred
Hands-on hardware and/or lab experience skills
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Statistical analysis skills are a plus (JMP, Excel)
Computer Programming language skills are a plus (Excel VBA, Python)
Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
Capable to organize complex datasets with a high attention to detail
Strong self-starter and team player with a can-do attitude
