Responsibilities

Design and deploy robust iFlows using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI), leveraging API-led and event-driven patterns across protocols like REST, SOAP, OData, and SFTP
Write efficient, maintainable Groovy scripts for complex mappings, validations, and custom exception handling
Publish and secure APIs using SAP API Management, enforcing critical policies like OAuth2/JWT, caching, and traffic shaping across development lifecycles
Align solutions with SAP data models, including IDocs, BAPIs, Business Events, and CDS, ensuring high-quality, secure data flow between SAP and non-SAP applications
Own L2/L3 integration support, leverage CPI monitoring and logging, and manage transports using BTP Transport Management Service (TMS) and CI/CD pipelines

Required

5-7 years of hands-on experience designing, building, and operating production-grade SAP and non-SAP integrations, specifically using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI)
Strong proficiency in Groovy scripting
Solid grasp of middleware protocols (REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, JSON, XML)
Working experience with SAP Cloud Connector, Destinations, XSUAA, secure credential management, and optimizing CPEA consumption
Deep understanding of patterns like request/reply, pub/sub, orchestration, and reliable delivery
Excellent ability to translate complex technical integration topics to mixed business and functional audiences (Finance, IS-U, EAM, HR)
