Account Executive
Partner in Publishing is seeking qualified candidates for their Higher Education Publishing client. The Account Executive – College is responsible for growing market share within Higher Education by establishing new faculty adoptions of digital and print course materials.
Responsibilities
Execute a strategic territory plan to drive new business and revenue growth
Conduct high-quality, consultative sales calls with faculty and campus stakeholders
Demonstrate technology and position our brand as a trusted academic partner
Identify, qualify, and close new sales opportunities while expanding existing accounts
Manage and maintain accurate pipeline activity in CRM (MSCRM)
Travel to assigned campuses during selling seasons; work extended hours as needed
Build long-term customer relationships to support adoption, renewals, and retention
Gather and share market feedback with Product, Sales, and Technology teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
2–4+ years of sales experience with a proven record of success
Hunter mindset with strong persuasion, presentation, and negotiation skills
Confidence demonstrating technology products in a competitive environment
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams
Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
Willingness to travel and work a flexible schedule
Preferred
Field-based or remote territory sales experience
Experience in publishing, SaaS, or education technology
Familiarity with CRM systems, sales enablement tools, and video conferencing platforms
