Senior Manager Application Support

The Senior Manager of Application Support will manage the Business Enterprise Application Management (BEAM) team, overseeing day-to-day operations and building relationships with application teams to enhance support processes.

Responsibilities
Lead the team to define future strategies to support on prem and cloud applications
Manage staff schedules and resourcing levels for 7x24 support
Provide leadership and guidance to staff including daily, weekly, and annual feedback
Manage the vendor relationship with the manage service provider
Ensure appropriate SOP's are in place for daily operations
Partner and collaborate with the application team
Identify opportunities to shift additional application support to BEAM
Enhance the reporting and stewardship process with the customers
Qualification
Required
10+ years of related experience
2+ years of management experience
Knowledge of infrastructure and applications
Application support experience
Strong interpersonal skills
Travel from the VA office to the Dallas office 2–4 times per year as required
Preferred
Proven management skills with the ability to effectively lead teams and oversee projects
Building and maintaining relationships
Demonstrated ability to expand the portfolio of projects by building trust and establishing strong relationships with clients
