Responsibilities

Manage and maintain SQL Server environments, including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, security, backup/recovery, and performance tuning

Support Production, Test, and Development databases, including SQL Server within SharePoint environments

Implement and support high availability and disaster recovery solutions (Always On)

Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend tuning and optimization

Develop and maintain database recovery, security, and capacity planning strategies

Design, modify, and deploy database schemas and structural changes

Automate database operations, batch data loads, and scheduled jobs

Collaborate with application teams on database design, performance, and migrations

Support cloud technologies and database governance; work with Cohesity backup solutions

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

7+ years of experience supporting database systems or related technologies

6+ years of hands-on SQL Server administration, performance tuning, T-SQL, and scripting

6+ years of experience with backup, recovery, clustering, and high-availability environments

4+ years of experience with Always On, database migrations, and enterprise-level database support

Strong experience in database capacity planning, storage design, and space management

Ability to document database architecture, ER diagrams, and technical designs

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Hands on administrative experience with SQL Server RDBMS Required 6 Years

Hands on experience in managing backup, recovery and high availability scenarios Required 6 Years

Hands on development and tuning of databases in SQL Server with Performance Tuning. Required 6 Years

Hands on experience in Microsoft Operating Systems and SQL Server clustered environments required. and Optimization and TSQL programming. Required 6 Years

Hands on query experience with SQL and scripting skills Required 6 Years

Strong knowledge and experience on Always ON High Availability groups Required 4 Years

Strong Knowledge and Experience on Migrations Required 4 Years
