Responsibilities

Monitor, evaluate, and improve elements of the company ISO/TS16949 Quality Management System
Administer, evaluate, and improve quality programs, which may include: Line Yield, Change Management, Defect Density Reduction, Supplier Quality, and Continuous Improvement activities
Administer, evaluate, and improve the Corrective Action Request (CAR) program. Coordinate CAR responses/8D reports to meet quality system and customer requirements. Ensure that the corrective actions implemented are effective
Participate in and, if necessary, organize, mentor, and lead problem solving, process mapping, and quality improvement activities
Prepare and present quality related materials in various quality venues: Quality reviews, Quality Management Systems audits, Customer visits/audits and teleconferences
Prepare and deliver quality system materials in response to customer information requests, audit/visit requests, and/or sales/marketing requests
Provide training, assistance, and technical guidance to the internal quality system audit teams. When, and if necessary, participate in internal auditing activities
Provide planning, implementation and improvement guidance on various tasks assigned to other Quality department personnel
Support company initiatives, such as; quality, safety and environmental management, CQI, 5S, yield management, and cost containment
Perform other duties as required

Required

Knowledge of the semiconductor industry, semiconductor wafer processing, and manufacturing process controls, and ISO9000/TS16949 Quality Management Systems
Skills in effective oral and written communications, problem solving, consensus and team building
Typically requires Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and four years wafer fabrication experience
