The role involves leading field survey operations, managing project execution, and building a team to support high-impact transportation and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee field survey operations across complex projects
Manage schedules, resources, and project execution
Perform and review boundary, topo, construction, and control surveys
Interpret plats, legal descriptions, and engineering plans
Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and clients to support design workflows
Build, mentor, and lead a growing survey team
Establish QA/QC standards, workflows, and best practices
Support proposals, budgeting, and client relationships with TxDOT and local agencies

Licensed Professional SurveyorAutoCAD Civil 3DLeadership experienceGPS/RTKRobotic total stationsTransportation experienceInfrastructure experienceTeam buildingProject management

Required

Licensed Professional Surveyor (TX) or ability to obtain
5+ years of progressive surveying experience
Strong leadership experience with field crews
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GPS/RTK, robotic total stations

Preferred

Background in transportation, infrastructure, or public works preferred
