Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage security solutions across cloud and on-prem environments
Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents, ensuring timely resolution and documentation
Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts with IT and development teams
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve security operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Support compliance initiatives (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA) by implementing and validating security controls
Research and evaluate emerging security technologies and threats
Contribute to security awareness and training initiatives across the organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
3–5 years of experience in a security engineering or operations role
Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP), network security, and endpoint protection
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)
Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, MITRE ATT&CK)
Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, IAM, and vulnerability management tools
Preferred
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, AWS Security Specialty) are a plus
