Electrical and Instrumentation Technician
Inolex is a chemical manufacturing company seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician. The E&I Tech is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing plant electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring safety and productivity in operations.

Responsibilities
Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on electrical systems and instrumentation as directed to ensure equipment is kept in full working order
Calibrate and configure sensors, controllers, and automated process equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues, utilizing engineering drawings, manuals, and diagnostics
Use electrical and instrumentation diagnostic equipment as well as handheld tools as related to electrical and instrumentation work
Run or operate devices to test their performance
Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to optimize process safety, control, and efficiency
Procure parts and supplies
Develop a spare parts list and help maintain spare parts inventory for electrical equipment and instrumentation
Track and complete work using plant CMMS software
Maintain good housekeeping of maintenance shop and plant
Perform work according to safe work practices; follow permit to work process, lock out and tag out procedures, Arc Flash protocol, etc
Coordinate outside vendors or resources as required for specialized service, repairs, or installations
Other job duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
4 years minimum experience
Position requires a HS diploma or GED
NFPA 70E certification a plus
Have some knowledge of building, electrical codes and OSHA regulations
Majority of work will take place in the manufacturing plant. Must wear designated safety gear when appropriate
Walking between departments, using stairs and climbing ladders
Bending, crouching, kneeling and the ability to lift 50 lbs. manually and unassisted
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds; squatting and kneeling
Preferred
Associates degree or trade certification in a related field is preferred but not required
