Responsibilities
Lead the development phase of an NQA-1 quality assurance program
Evaluate existing procedures against current organizational structures and systems
Update documentation
Support program approval
Qualification
Required
Minimum 10 years of experience in nuclear quality assurance
Extensive knowledge of NQA-1 (ASME NQA-1) requirements and standards
Proven experience in QA program development, establishment, or significant updates
Strong background in procedures development, review, and approval processes
Experience evaluating existing QA procedures and identifying gaps
Knowledge of DOE and/or commercial nuclear power quality requirements
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Ability to obtain necessary clearances if required by the client
Preferred
Previous experience with Jacobs or similar large engineering firms
Experience in program development for nuclear facilities or DOE sites
Familiarity with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and related regulatory requirements
ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
Experience with quality management system (QMS) software and tools
Background in nuclear engineering or nuclear operations
Master's degree in relevant field
Experience presenting to senior management and regulatory bodies
Previous consulting or contractor experience in the nuclear industry
