Responsibilities
Lead ECM strategy, development, and execution within a defined technical discipline (e.g., HVAC, wastewater, CHP, lighting, refrigeration, etc.)
Collaborate with Development Engineers to refine client-specific operational data and support accurate energy modeling
Work with UMS to deploy and analyze data logging to inform baseline assumptions and validate savings
Prepare and review detailed calculations for baselining and performance modeling
Draft comprehensive ECM scopes including installation details, control sequences, and integration requirements
Identify and assess project risks including technical feasibility, incentive eligibility, constructability, and pricing assumptions
Support incentive application processes with necessary technical documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering
8+ years of experience in energy engineering, with 5+ years of demonstrated subject matter expertise in Electrical, Power Systems and Power Electronics
Strong analytical skills, including familiarity with energy modeling software, utility analysis, and M&V protocols
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex engineering topics to non-technical audiences
Proven ability to manage multiple high-impact projects and collaborate across cross-functional teams
Preferred
master's degree
Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification
Experience with ESA projects and performance contracting
