They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who will focus on enhancing assembly line efficiency and providing on-line support, while also maintaining production line performance and implementing preventative actions.

Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining production line performance and related problem-solving activities

Responsible for planning, testing, and assisting in the implementation of preventative actions in the production lines in order to establish and verify capable and stable production processes in terms of safety, quality, delivery, and cost

Responsible for non-critical changes in production processes in cooperation with product engineering, assembly engineering & systems support where applicable

Investigate and recommend resolution to issues associated with non-conforming parts

Assist 8D investigations or similar corrective action processes derived from product and process audits, from internal quality investigations, or customer complaints

Develop and maintain reject and teardown procedures

Track PDCA items related to fallout and follow up to task owners on progress

Coordinate product/assembly engineering tasks or projects at the manufacturing plant level

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field

Interpersonal skills, project management skills, technical skills and exceptional work ethic
