Responsibilities
Provide electrical engineering services supporting projects from conceptual through detailed design for pharmaceutical, R&D, process development, and manufacturing facilities
Interface with designers and client representatives to coordinate the development of design deliverables
Develop design documentation including engineering calculations, drawings, and diagrams
Perform electrical system calculations such as load analysis, lighting foot-candle calculations, and short circuit analysis using computer-based tools
Prepare engineering calculations, equipment specifications, and other deliverables for facility expansions, renovations, and remediation projects
Conduct feasibility studies and perform electrical system capacity analyses
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
5-10+ years MEP engineering experience
Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
Knowledge of applicable codes and standards
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Autodesk software (Revit and AutoCAD)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred
Experience with design of GMP and FDA regulated facilities and/or central plant utilities
Experience in technical leadership, schedule, cost, and scope management
EIT certification or PE license
