Sales Director

Responsibilities

Leverage strong Pratt & Whitney experience and established relationships within aerospace engines
Build and maintain executive-level relationships (VP, Director, Manager) across all lines of business
Engage in strategic dialogue to understand client operations, growth strategy, and service needs
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities using BANT criteria (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeframe)
Conduct account research to identify product and process segments aligned with Cyient’s offerings
Develop and maintain strategic account plans to grow revenue while protecting current business
Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure schedule, cost, and quality commitments are met
Manage revenue, purchase orders, gross margin, and days sales outstanding
Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and reporting in Salesforce.com
Work with cross-functional teams—including delivery, technical resources, marketing, finance, and HR—to deliver customer value and meet targets
Identify potential new customers and develop strategies to engage them
Represent Cyient at industry events, client meetings, and executive presentations
Support market research, lead generation, and presales activities

Required

US Citizenship
Extensive knowledge of aerospace engines and strong Pratt & Whitney experience/relationships
Proven success in selling Engineering & Design services
Excellent executive-level presentation abilities
Proven success in multinational and multicultural environments
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a global team
Willingness to travel occasionally
Strong organizational and project management skills

Preferred

Experience in Account Management
Business development experience, including market research, lead management, and presales support
History of collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer value
