Responsibilities
Studies data sources by interviewing users; defining, analyzing, and validating data objects; identifying the relationship among data objects
Plans data integration process by developing common definitions of sourced data; designing common keys in physical data structure; establishing data integration specifications; examining data applications
Examines data models and determines best-fit data interchange methods
Assesses middleware tools for data integration, transformation, and routing
Develops project scope and specifications identifying factors that negatively impact integration; forecasts resource requirements and establishes delivery timetables
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences or closely related field or equivalent related professional experience is required
Seven or more (7+) years of experience in a development role, designing and developing integrations to internal and external applications
Hands-on development skills in python, javascript (ideally react.js) and relational database (ideally Postgres) are essential for this role
Preferred
Additional certifications are preferred
Any mobile and/or java development experience is a definite plus
