Customer Service Representative in the Returns Department

O'Rourke Sales Company is an established national distributor offering numerous lines of consumer electronics and appliances. They are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their Returns Team, responsible for managing claims, communicating with internal departments, and coordinating return shipments.

Responsibilities

Manage external and internal email accounts
Generate and track claims within an internal software portal
Communicate with internal departments relating to returned / defective products
Evaluate returned items and place in proper inventory
File claims with carriers when goods are damaged or lost
File for return authorizations to vendors
Coordinate with internal and external teams to return shipments to vendors
Track return shipments and coordinate with accounting ensuring credits are received
Set daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to manage claim progress
Update sales staff with progress and disposition of claims
Other duties as assigned, may vary
