Responsibilities
Review tax returns with an emphasis on S Corporations, Partnerships, and Individuals with a focus on accuracy and compliance
Act as an advisor to closely held businesses and individual clients on complex tax planning strategies
Develop specialized expertise in key industries—including auto dealerships, construction and real estate, manufacturing, and other commercial businesses—and provide consultative management advisory services
Champion, train, and support team members in their technical and professional development
Structure, oversee, and collaborate with our leadership team on a variety of engagements
Lead client service teams with a people-first mindset, ensuring excellent service, timely execution, and ongoing team growth
Research and communicate solutions to complex tax issues, leveraging creativity and deep tax law knowledge and related implications
Qualification
Required
A solid track record within public accounting; with a proven mix of strong technical expertise, leadership, and client management skills. (Ideally, 10+yrs of experience)
An active CPA license (or equivalent qualifications, i.e. EA)
A confidence working with CCH Axcess, Caseware, and CCH Fixed Assets (or similar tax software)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex tax matters to diverse audiences both internally and externally
Proven relationship-building and project management skills, with a client-focused approach
Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines while fostering a collaborative work environment
Readiness to actively engage in ARB's client-centric, team-oriented culture
