Responsibilities
Run day-to-day accounting for two Dutch entities (bookkeeping, AP/AR, payments, reconciliations)
Lead month-end and year-end close with external accounting partners
Transition accounting from outsourced to in-house
Prepare and submit statutory filings in line with Dutch regulations
Ensure compliance with IFRS and/or Dutch GAAP
Work with product and engineering to automate and improve accounting workflows
Support audits and act as the main finance contact for the Netherlands
Qualification
Required
6–8 years of accounting experience
Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or Dutch GAAP, including statutory and financial reporting requirements
Experience with full-cycle accounting, including month-end and year-end close, general ledger, and financial statements
Ability to manage audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
High attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong ownership mindset and cross-functional collaboration skills
