Responsibilities
PPAP Project Support
Conduct troubleshooting studies for machinery and quality issues
8D project studies
Documentation updates (system & floor)
SPC studies
Plant floor layout design
Time Studies and Process Cycle Time Improvements
Redesign machine components
Document Preparation and design (Work Standards, Control Plans, Process Documentation)
Gaging - CPK Studies
OEE & Process Standards
Machining Capability Improvements
Tolerances
Reduce process variation
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field with a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0
Ability to reliably commute our Bellwood, IL plant (not remote)
Excellent communication skills required - oral and written
Good multi-tasking skills
Ability to drive for results is essential
Ability to do logical problem solving
Basic understanding of engineering principles
Willingness and desire to learn
Ability to work independently or in a team setting
Computer literacy is necessary
Time Management Skills
Preferred
Experience showing mechanical aptitude a plus
