Responsibilities
Manage the overall execution of Annual Improvement Priorities (AIPs) from Day 1 through completion of all program activities, benefits realization, and retrospectives
Develop Strategic A3s (Project Charters) that serve as program foundational documents, defining problem statements, root causes, target conditions, implementation approaches, and success metrics
Partner with functional leaders to architect program strategies and translate executive vision into actionable roadmaps with clear milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, and KPIs
Document and communicate detailed program plans with timelines, resources, costs, and expected business value to achieve strategic objectives
Drive benefits realization tracking and reporting, ensuring initiatives deliver promised ROI and measurable business outcomes
Leverage X-Matrix strategic planning methodology to ensure clear alignment between breakthrough objectives, annual objectives, improvement priorities, and measurable outcomes
Track and report on key metrics to provide visibility into priority performance against monthly and annual goals
Establish and maintain program governance structures including steering committees, executive sponsor engagement models, and decision-making forums appropriate to initiative scope and complexity
Serve as a strategic business partner to executive sponsors by driving timely and objective decision-making with sound advice and good judgment
Facilitate executive steering committee meetings to provide status on progress, milestone achievement, risks, and decisions needed
Present regular program updates to support clear communication and reporting to ELT and board-level audiences
Own integration governance, program management, and progress reports with real-time dashboards and integrated project plans
Provide support and input to functional leaders on resource needs, budgets, and RAIDD (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies, Decisions) items
Facilitate Monthly Execution Reviews to track priority progress against Targets to Improve
Lead through influence with cross-functional teams across IT, Finance, Operations, HR, Legal, and other departments to deliver on strategic objectives
Facilitate functional business leaders' decision-making with data awareness, effective meetings, and breaking down cross-functional communication silos
Apply appropriate program management methodologies, primarily lean, based on initiative characteristics and organizational context
Develop and maintain momentum and urgency across all functional participants required to execute on program workplans
Manage multiple programs simultaneously with varying or overlapping deadlines while maintaining alignment with strategic priorities
Identify and mitigate program risks, manage budgets and resources, track KPIs, and make data-driven recommendations for course corrections
Facilitate weekly project team meetings to provide status updates and drive accountability for deliverables
Drive organizational change management and adoption for strategic initiatives affecting operating models, processes, systems, and organizational structures
Work with leadership and teams to communicate program vision and benefits, obtain feedback on priorities and challenges, and manage resistance to change
Foster consistent and clear communication cross-functionally and vertically within the organization to ensure awareness of critical issues/risks and drive them to resolution with constant objectivity
Partner with functional leaders to ensure sustained adoption of new ways of working
Conduct structured retrospectives at key program milestones and completion, capturing lessons learned and ideas for continuous improvement
Build organizational program management maturity by documenting frameworks, sharing best practices, and coaching team members on execution excellence
Support additional strategic cross-functional initiatives beyond AIPs as business needs require, bringing program discipline and execution rigor to emerging priorities
Participate actively in strategic planning activities to facilitate evaluation of key issues, assess implementation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3-5 years of strategic, enterprise-level program/project management experience
Proven track record delivering complex, cross-functional programs with measurable business results
Experience leading programs in dynamic, scaling technology companies
Exceptional project management skills in complex, fast-paced environments (PMP, or similar certification preferred)
Strong experience with Lean problem-solving methodology or similar structured approaches
Proficiency in program management tools such as Smartsheet
Proven expertise creating executive-level reporting, documentation, and communications
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience influencing C-suite executives and senior leaders
