Responsibilities

Guide strategic planning, financial stewardship, and organizational alignment

Invest deeply in the success and well-being of SNN’s dedicated and hard-working team

Strengthen the organization’s role as an educator and community partner

Reinforce consistent, dependable service delivery

Partner with the Board of Directors to clarify SNN's organizational identity, priorities, and direction through a thoughtful strategic planning process

Ensure that decisions around programs, services, and partnerships align with organizational capacity and long-term mission impact

Provide executive oversight of SNN's multi-site, high-volume veterinary operations, including clinic-based and mobile services

Strengthen internal infrastructure, systems, and processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality across all sites

Lead, support, mentor, and inspire a dedicated, long-tenured leadership team and staff across multiple clinic locations to ensure high performance, accountability, and professional growth

Collaborate with staff and the Board to assess SNN's philanthropic potential and current fundraising capacity and design/execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to diversify revenue streams
