Responsibilities

Personally onboard new counselors and firms

Help them understand how to upload, organize, and interpret their data

Ensure every counselor starts with clarity and confidence around both usage and ethics

Work directly with counselors to apply insights in parent and student conversations

Answer questions, provide guidance, and share best practices

Make sure counselors always feel supported using Nerd Apply

Proactively engage counselors throughout the admissions cycle

Help existing customers upload new and historical data as their practice evolves

Identify gaps in usage, understanding, or data completeness and address them early

Share patterns, feedback, and insights with product and leadership

Translate real counselor needs into better workflows, features, and tools

Partner with internal design and support resources when counselors need materials or outputs built from their data

Develop onboarding playbooks and education frameworks

Define what strong adoption and long-term usage actually look like

Help shape how this role scales as Nerd Apply grows
