Responsibilities
Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to ensure network efficiency and security
Analyze network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
Arranging scheduled upgrades
Investigating faults in the network
Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
Reporting network status to key stakeholders
Some travel required for installation of network equipment at new locations, overhauling existing locations, and/or assisting with site relocations
Qualification
Required

Z-Scaler Cloud Security (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX)
HPE Clearpass Network Access Controls (NAC)
HPE UXI / Wyebot - Wireless & Network analysis/troubleshooting
SD-WAN (Velocloud & EdgeConnect/Silverpeak)
Routing Protocols, DHCP, DNS LAN/WAN, ACLs & VLAN
Security Concepts – Troubleshooting using SIEM & syslog logging systems
Network Monitoring administration (SNMP, Netflow, WMI) – Solarwinds experience a plus
Incident Management & ITIL Framework (ServiceNow)
Documentation – Experience with creating and maintaining Visio network diagrams & IPAM (Netbox)
Periodic On-Call Afterhours Standby responsibility/experience
Experience with traveling to locations to install, troubleshoot, manage and maintain remote networks (10-25% travel)
Experience rack, stack and cabling including working within colocation datacenters
Experience working with copper ethernet, wireless networks, and fiber based network components
IT-related Bachelor's Degree and relevant technical certifications is highly preferred
