Embedded Engineering Summer Intern 2026
Stanley Black & Decker is a leading global company known for its innovative tools and technology. They are seeking an Embedded Engineering Summer Intern to support the Tool & Outdoor team with software development and testing for electrically powered equipment.

Responsibilities
Assists with the development of software for electrically powered equipment
Assists senior engineers by developing tests for software components
Analyzes software problems with test equipment and analysis tools to determine root cause of technical issues
Assists research and other engineering personnel to prepare design modifications as required
Assists with the development of embedded software for electrically powered equipment
Interested in low-level/bare-metal embedded C programming
Qualification
Required
Be a rising junior or senior with a target graduation date of 2028 or 2027
Actively pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
Firmware testing and electrical designing
Maintains strong academic credentials
Successfully manages strong academics alongside extracurricular activities
