The IT Project Manager will oversee the implementation of IT projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and adhere to project management best practices.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage comprehensive project plans that include scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation for complex enterprise projects

Lead project kickoff meetings to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on objectives and deliverables

Lead and Manage project teams through the SDLC from ideation, through change management to successful implementation

Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, including Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Technology Experts, to deliver projects on time and within budget

Foster a collaborative environment that encourages participation and accountability among team members

Be the lead for IT Project team and a stakeholder for both Program and Executive stakeholder meetings

Lead with exemplary communication skills backed by datapoints and leveraging implementation experience to highlight issues and risks

Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues

Collaborate closely with business leaders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable project plans

Oversee the implementation of complex enterprise IT projects, ensuring solutions seamlessly integrate with existing systems, including but not limited to ERP and business intelligence platforms

Ensure that all technology solutions are designed to meet Chaney’s operational needs and strategic objectives

Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively

Resolve conflicts and issues that arise during project execution, minimizing disruption to project timelines

Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards

Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end-users and gather feedback for continuous improvement

Support the development of training materials and documentation for end-users, facilitating a smooth transition to new systems and processes

Assist in change management initiatives to ensure user adoption of new technologies

Required

A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on implementing complex enterprise projects, integrations, and business intelligence solutions

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred

Demonstrated experience implementing operating platforms that integrate with ERP systems and business intelligence will be highly regarded

Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and strategic thinking capabilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
