Responsibilities
Build and maintain WordPress sites (themes, plugins, custom tweaks)
Translate designs from Figma into clean, responsive code
Implement custom email signup flows and API integrations
Optimize sites for performance and basic SEO
Move sites between environments (WP Engine, SFTP, etc.)
Collaborate closely with designers and creative leads
Qualification
Required
Build and maintain WordPress sites (themes, plugins, custom tweaks)
Translate designs from Figma into clean, responsive code
Implement custom email signup flows and API integrations
Optimize sites for performance and basic SEO
Move sites between environments (WP Engine, SFTP, etc.)
Collaborate closely with designers and creative leads
HTML, CSS, JavaScript
PHP (primarily for WordPress)
Comfortable working directly with WordPress code
Experience with API integrations
Familiar with site optimization best practices (images, meta info, OG tags)
Experience using SFTP and WP Engine
Ability to translate designs into production-ready code
Preferred
Basic Photoshop skills a plus (image resizing, overlays, light tweaks)
