They are seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for repairing, improving, and maintaining all facility equipment while ensuring a safe working environment.

Responsibilities
Work responsibly in a safe manner, following all safe operating procedures and posted requirements
Perform all types of mechanical work and electrical repair work related to equipment
Welding and other fabrication as needed
Continuously look for ways to cut costs without a detriment to the quality of the equipment
Learn and increase knowledge on known and unknown equipment
Preventive maintenance (check oil levels, change filters, inspect the equipment, repair equipment, etc.)
Communicate with all levels of Management, including intergroup and intra-group communication
Complete assigned tasks as instructed
Qualification
Required
High School diploma, or GED required
Technical certificate in electrical or machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required
Industrial, electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting experience required
Necessary math skills - Addition, subtraction, and multiplication to record accurate reports
Ability to read and write in English
Ability to periodically lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Frequently lift 50 lbs
Must be able to stand for 12 hours in a non-climate controlled environment
Preferred
Experience working on plastic extrusion equipment preferred
