8+ years expThe HT Group is seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Application Support Engineer / Systems Support Analyst to support and maintain a critical enterprise platform used to manage mobile workforce operations and large-scale data systems. This hands-on role focuses on day-to-day system health, upgrades, enhancements, and long-term stability of the environment.

Responsibilities
Provide primary support for a Mobile Workforce Management (MWM) platform and secondary support for a Meter Data Management System (MDMS) or similar enterprise system
Monitor system health and performance, including batch processing, job scheduling, and system integrations
Troubleshoot application, database, and infrastructure-related issues across DEV, TEST, and PROD environments
Perform system upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities
Implement system changes and enhancements based on business or operational requests
Develop and maintain reports within complex enterprise applications
Support application training efforts and documentation
Assist with disaster recovery planning and execution
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure system stability and performance
Qualification
Required
8+ years supporting mission-critical enterprise applications for business users
8+ years of Oracle Database and PL/SQL experience, including system integrations and connections
8+ years administering, upgrading, and troubleshooting complex enterprise systems such as: Mobile Workforce Management (MWM), Meter Data Management Systems (MDMS), or comparable large-scale, data-intensive applications
8+ years working in UNIX environments (AIX/Linux), including Red Hat and SUSE
Strong shell scripting experience (e.g., KornShell – ksh)
Proven experience evaluating system performance, conducting health checks, tuning, and capacity planning
Preferred
Experience with Oracle Mobile Workforce Management (MWM)
Experience with Landis+Gyr Meter Data Management System (MDMS)
Working knowledge of enterprise technology stacks and system dependencies
Experience documenting IT processes and communicating technical concepts to varied audiences
Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex priorities
Self-starter with a proactive, process-oriented mindset
Experience implementing application security standards, including keystore management and Java-based security updates
Experience with WebLogic 12.2 server maintenance
Report development experience in complex enterprise applications
Programming or scripting experience with Java, Groovy, JavaScript, and Python
Experience developing and supporting APIs, including error handling
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
