Responsibilities
Troubleshoot SMT and rework-related defects and failures
Interpret schematics, BOMs, drawings, and technical documentation, Solidworks (or similar) skills a plus
Develop and maintain process documentation and work instructions
Work directly with technicians to ensure safe, repeatable, and reliable rework processes
Contribute to continuous improvement and process standardization efforts
Working knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and component sensitivity
Comfort working on the shop floor and collaborating closely with technicians
Experience in aerospace, defense, medical, or other high-reliability electronics environments is preferred
Exposure to hot air rework systems, reflow ovens, X-ray inspection, or failure analysis
Familiarity with IPC standards such as IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, or IPC-7711/7721
Qualification
Required
10 years of experience in electronics manufacturing
Hands-on experience in SMT assembly, reflow, or board-level processes
Ability to read and interpret schematics
Strong problem-solving skills
