Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and create technical and functional specifications
Design, configure, customize, and enhance Windchill PDMLink applications
Provide best practices for Windchill configuration and customization
Troubleshoot Windchill technical issues and perform root cause analysis
Coordinate with software vendors for technical support and system upgrades
Act as a technical liaison between business users, PLM delivery teams, and IT
Support IT project managers by owning technical deliverables and daily development tasks
Design and develop tools to enhance Windchill system and business administration
Perform data migrations from legacy or external systems
Identify tools and processes to ensure smooth operation of Windchill environments
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience designing, installing, and configuring PTC Windchill PDMLink
Strong technical knowledge of Windchill architecture and development environment
Hands-on experience with server-side and UI customizations
Expertise in Windchill Workflow and Lifecycle Management
Strong configuration experience with Types, Attributes, ACLs, OIRs, and Reports
Proficiency in Java and web technologies
Experience with Windchill data migrations
Working knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux systems
Experience with Oracle databases and SQL
Preferred
Experience with system and application integrations
Experience integrating Windchill with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Familiarity with CAD packages
Experience with validated systems and formal design reviews
