Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and storing data using platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric
Develop efficient ETL/ELT workflows to ensure seamless data movement and optimize performance
Build data pipelines to support advanced analytics and AI/ML workflows in cloud environments
Create data models and establish governance frameworks to ensure integrity, security, and consistency
Partner with clients to understand business needs and design tailored data solutions
Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to implement optimized storage and retrieval systems
Monitor and optimize query performance, and create reusable automation scripts for efficient workflows
Deliver training, documentation, and support to ensure client adoption and enhance organizational data literacy

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline
2–3 years of experience in designing and implementing data engineering solutions
Strong expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, and/or Microsoft Fabric for data pipeline and operations development
Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, and distributed data frameworks
Practical experience with ETL/ELT workflows, cloud-native services, and data warehousing
Understanding of AI/ML-related data workflows, including preparation for feature engineering and model optimization
Knowledge of data governance, security protocols, and compliance standards in cloud ecosystems
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and engage clients effectively
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team

Preferred

Certifications in Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
Hands-on experience with data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt, or Delta Lake
Familiarity with DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC tools like Terraform
Experience in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, insurance, finance), with a focus on compliance and data security
Background in automating infrastructure and workflows across advanced cloud environments
