Responsibilities

Source and originate SBA 7a and 504 loans through self generated business development and established referral networks
Evaluate borrower needs and provide financing solutions aligned with SBA program requirements
Collect and analyze financial information, tax returns, cash flow statements, global debt service coverage, and collateral details to determine loan viability
Prepare and present loan packages for credit approval in accordance with SBA Standard Operating Procedures
Coordinate the loan closing process with internal teams, external partners, attorneys, appraisers, and title agents
Maintain a strong understanding of SBA regulations to ensure compliance in all deal structures and submissions
Grow and maintain relationships with commercial real estate brokers, CPAs, business brokers, commercial bankers, and small business owners
Manage a pipeline of active deals and deliver a high level of service to clients throughout the lending process
Achieve individual production goals while supporting the bank's overall lending objectives

Required

3-7 years of direct SBA lending experience
Proven record of originating SBA 7a and or 504 loans
Strong knowledge of SBA guidelines, eligibility requirements, use of proceeds, and collateral standards
Ability to analyze and structure complex credit requests
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a banking environment

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, or a related field preferred
