Sr. Product Manager
Europa Eyewear is a leading designer and distributor of premium eyewear brands, dedicated to craftsmanship, innovation, and independent spirit. The Senior Product Manager will lead the overall strategy and development across Europa’s premium and luxury portfolio, ensuring each collection aligns with brand positioning and market opportunity.
Responsibilities
Owns the premium product strategy for American Optical, STATE, Scott Harris, Micheal Ryen, and Cinzia brands, building differentiated, future-forward roadmaps
Identifies opportunities through customer insights, competitive analysis, trend forecasting, and data-driven evaluation
Drives product positioning and pricing in alignment with brand strategy and marketing narrative
Leads product partnerships, identifying opportunities for collaborations, special collections, and future licensing that elevate brand awareness and commercial impact
Oversees the full product lifecycle from concept through launch and end-of-life, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and commercial targets are met
Partners globally with domestic and international design, sourcing, manufacturing, and engineering teams, requiring a strong technical understanding of eyewear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes
Reviews samples, colors, construction, and fit to ensure adherence to product briefs and brand standards
Synthesizes insights and delivers clear recommendations to leadership and cross-functional partners
Manages and develops Designer(s), fostering alignment, clarity, and strong execution
Presents product strategy, seasonal collections, and key initiatives at National Sales Meetings and sales calls
Forward-thinking leader who thinks strategically while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
Proactive, resourceful, and willing to roll up their sleeves to drive outcomes
Possesses a strong sense of ownership for their business, roadmap, and growth objectives
Operates with clarity, urgency, and a commitment to excellence across teams and deliverables
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in premium or luxury eyewear, apparel, or accessories
Deep familiarity with the optical eyewear market, including materials, construction, and category trends
Demonstrated technical capability working with manufacturing engineers and understanding feasibility, tolerances, and manufacturing processes
Proven track record of successfully launching new products and driving commercial performance
Strong data analysis, presentation, communication, and leadership skills. Must have ability to dig into raw data to help inform decision making
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
Ability to travel 10–15%, including frequent travel to Vernon Hills, IL and potentially international supplier and trade show visits
